Rebecca Witter, LMFT - Marriage and Family Therapist, License #48562
We are born with an inner “knowing”, an intuitive way of perceiving the world and our relationship to it.
This softer, organic intelligence is meant to motivate and propel us through a bountiful and breathless journey.  More times than not, however, it becomes silenced by the blunt force of a demanding world.
I help people reconnect with and reclaim their inner knowing - that  part of themselves which is forever alive.
Whether you want to heal a wound, break a habit, address a problem, redefine your place in the world (or in a significant relationship) or simply grow down deeper, I encourage you to honor this urge.  It issues from a place that is golden.
All therapy serves as an invitation to return to ourselves - to connect the dots between the clamor at the surface of our lives, and the silent world beneath it.  I am passionate about the privilege given to me to witness and support my clients' efforts to restore their personal, social, and creative sensibilities.  I look forward to meeting you there.
About My Availability
I  see individuals and couples over the age of seventeen.
For early morning risers, I am available  6-9 a.m. as well as for  typical therapy  office hours:  days and early evenings.
Clients usually set up weekly appointments,  but as life throws each of us different curves, I am happy to follow your lead.
I am also available for consultation.  Unlike therapy, a consultation appointment is a one-time exchange.  It is intended to give you the opportunity to touch base with someone outside your immediate circle.  Sometimes a relatively unbiased ear is all one needs.
